May 14, 2015

The Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference is wrapping up this afternoon in Kansas City. For the second year, ABI has partnered with the conference and thank you to all ABI members that were able to attend. ABI Policy and Regulatory Affairs Coordinator Zach Dalluge also attended the event.

This conference is a great opportunity to gain extensive knowledge on a wide range of environmental issues as well as learn best practices and network with industry professionals. Several of today's most talked about environmental issues were discussed including the upcoming ozone rule and clean power plan. Regulators from EPA, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas also spoke on enforcement and compliance issues.

Save the date for next year's conference which will be held on May 12-13, 2016 at the Overland Park Marriott in Overland Park, Kansas.
