Federal Spotlight: UWC Information

Late last week, UWC, an organization with expertise in unemployment and workers’ compensation issues, sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee expressing concern with Section 702 of HR 6545. The provision would impose a federal mandate on states to allow individuals to file unemployment against an employer when the reason for unemployment had nothing to do with actions of the employer.
