Federal Spotlight: More federal employee reporting requirements proposed

February 4, 2016

ABI’s federal partner, the National Association of Manufacturers has provided information regarding another anti-employer proposal released by President Obama’s administration. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) proposal will require all employers with more than 100 employees to include pay with its EEO-1 Report. The current report provides the federal government with workforce profiles from private sector employers by race, ethnicity, sex and job category. The new requirements would add aggregate data on pay ranges and hours worked to the information already collected. ABI has concerns based on the preliminary information provided by the NAM and would appreciate your feedback. Comments are due April 1, 2016. If you have information you would like to provide, please contact Myron Linn.
