Federal Spotlight: Judge permanently blocks persuader rule

A federal judge in Texas has permanently blocked the U.S. Department of Labor from enforcing a new rule expanding employers’ disclosure requirements related to union-organizing campaigns after the judge concluded that the rule is unlawful. Another judge previously had put a temporary block on the rule but it was unclear if it would stand.
