Federal Spotlight: Deputy Labor Secretary Pens Op-Ed on Keeping Workers Safe During COVID-19

The Des Moines Register published an op-ed by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Patrick Pizzella on actions the Trump administration is taking to keep workers and those headed back to work safe from COVID-19. It highlights the role the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is playing in helping employers and employees understand federal guidance and how the agency can further be a resource to both sides. There are a number of other resources the administration has issued including Guidelines for Opening Up America Again, critical infrastructure workforce guidelines, a coronavirus fact v. myth page and coronavirus.gov.
