Federal Spotlight: ABI member testifies in support of tax reform

David Farr, chairman of ABI member company Emerson, testified before the House Ways & Means Committee last week in support of tax reform. Farr also serves as chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). He outlined several tax reform priorities: a corporate tax rate of 15 percent, lower rates for pass-through businesses, a territorial international tax system, a permanent R&D incentive and robust capital cost-recovery rules.
