Atlantic and Fort Dodge Regional Meetings Postponed

Regional meetings that were set to be held in Atlantic on Wednesday, May 18 and Fort Dodge on Thursday, May 19 have been postponed until a later date since the Iowa Legislature is still in session. The 100th day of session was April 19th, which was when lawmakers per diem expenses expired. This typically acts as a catalyst for shutting down the session, but due to the issues described earlier in the newsletter, the Legislature hasn’t adjourned yet.
