Your support needed for a public hearing Dec. 1

ABI has been following the Department of Revenue’s proposed rule on the definition of machinery, equipment and replacement parts used in the manufacturing process that are tax exempt. In October, ABI President Mike Ralston testified before the Administrative Rules Review Committee in support of the rule. A public hearing was requested and has been scheduled for 2 p.m., Dec. 1. The hearing will take place at the Wallace Building Auditorium, 502 E. Ninth St., in Des Moines. ABI is seeking members to testify in support of the rule.
