Special Election set for December 27

A special election to fill Iowa Senate District 45 will take place Dec. 27, 2016. The seat is vacant following the recent death of Sen. Joe Seng (D-Davenport).

Current state representatives Jim Lykam (D-Davenport) and Cindy Winckler (D-Davenport) have said they will run for the vacant senate seat.
