Get Involved: Employee Voter Registration Week

Businesses, trade associations and other entities from across the country will participate in Employee Voter Registration Week this Sept. 23-27. The goal of the week is to increase the number of private sector employees registered to vote and encourage them to exercise that right to vote in the upcoming elections. ABI is partnering with BIPAC and several other organizations to promote this important week and to encourage employees to take advantage of their right to vote and have  their voices heard in the upcoming elections this November and during 2020.

In addition to ABI’s efforts around EVRW, Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate is partnering with the Iowa Cubs in a nonpartisan effort to increase voter registration and to promote the first-in-the-nation Iowa Caucuses. The Cubs will be temporarily renamed “the Iowa Caucuses” for the Aug. 30 home game in support of this effort. Read more about the promotion.
