Coming to a Community Near You: ABI Regional Meetings

ABI's public policy staff will be traveling across the state to meet with ABI members following the adjournment of the 2019 legislative session. The team will provide a comprehensive breakdown of the key issues discussed throughout the year and how those issues will affect the business community. Another key component to the meetings is receiving your feedback on legislative and regulatory issues that are a challenge to your business. We will also talk about issues that did not advance this session but employers should be aware of for the 2020 legislative session. May 3 will be the 110th day of the session when per diem expenses expire for lawmakers. This deadline acts as an incentive for the Legislature to wrap up its business, but it does not mean the Legislature has to adjourn on that date.
