ARRC Approves Rule on Air Quality Electronic Reporting

On Monday, the Administrative Rules Review Committee held their monthly meeting at the Capitol and they approved filed rule ARC 6271C. The rule pertains to the air quality bureau and requires the electronic submittal of all air emissions reporting, air construction permit applications, and other air quality documents. The DNR says this will increase government efficiencies and reduce programmatic costs of the agency. ABI has been tracking this rule since the beginning and received no negative comments from members during the stakeholder process. The implementation date of this rule is January 1, 2023.
