Another local election: Dallas County Supervisors set date for vote

Between now and November 2017, there will be many special elections held in addition to school board and municipal elections. Just this week, Linn County held an election on the number of county supervisors. Additionally, supporters of implementing a local option sales tax in Dallas County received enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot this November. The election will take place on Tuesday, November 7, the same day as municipal elections this year. Residents of the county who reside in Clive, Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale, and Grimes will vote as one unit on the issue because they share borders.
