The annual Taking Care of Business Conference, hosted by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), will bring together over 500 influential business leaders from across Iowa and the Midwest. Recognized as Iowa’s premier statewide business conference, this three-day event will be held in the Quad Cities June 4-6, 2024.

“We are looking forward to another great conference, and we are excited to be back in the Quad Cities region,” said Mike Ralston, ABI President.

Conference programming will take place at the Davenport RiverCenter, in the heart of downtown. Attendees will also explore local attractions and tour businesses, including Iowa American Water Company, Arconic, John Deere Davenport Works, and more.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds will once again address attendees at the Conference on Wednesday, June 5. The 2024 mainstage speakers include Lesa France Kennedy, Executive Vice Chair of NASCAR; Tommy Spaulding, Founder and President of Tommy Spaulding Companies and NY Times Best-Selling Author; and Frank Kelly, Political Strategist, Founder, and Managing Partner of Fulcrum Macro Advisors LLC.

New to the programming this year is the announcement of the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Iowa. Iowa-made products have been competing since early April to receive the honor.

The Conference will also feature workshops from Iowa industry experts on artificial intelligence, employee engagement strategies, cybersecurity, and strategic marketing.

“This event is meant to educate and inspire Iowa business leaders,” said Chad Reece, ABI Board Vice Chair and Vice President of Government and Industry Relations at Winnebago Industries. “The networking connections and knowledge sharing that happens during this Conference is priceless.”
