Steve Sukup is President of Sukup Manufacturing Co.
On Saturday, Steve Sukup (Sukup Manufacturing Co., Sheffield) assumed the presidency of his family’s company. This completes the transition announced last November. At that time, former ABI Chair Charles Sukup (Sukup Manufacturing Co., Sheffield), who had served as company president, announced his transition to Chair of the Board of Directors. Charles and Steve, second generation leaders, are the sons of company founders the late Eugene Sukup and his wife, Mary Sukup.
Steve is the former longtime CFO of Sukup Manufacturing Co. and his contributions to the company’s success over the years are numerous. These include the advent of the grain bin product line, increased manufacturing capacity, and growing the company’s footprint in commercial sales. Steve also played the leading role in developing of the Safe T Home, a housing solution for developing countries (read more here: https://www.sukup.com/safe-t-home. Steve is well-known for his focus on innovation and growth.
As President, Steve is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and for strategically advancing the company’s mission to preserve and protect the world’s grain supply. Steve, the Board of Directors, and third generation family members active in the company are committed to ensuring that Sukup Manufacturing Co. remains family-owned, and supporting the keys to success the company has built since 1963: a strong dealer network, world-class manufacturing capability, a responsive attitude to customer service, and engineering solutions to meet the needs of the global agriculture community.
