2021 Taking Care of Business Conference
Over 500 Iowa business leaders attended the 2021 ABI Taking Care of Business Conference, June 8-10, in Coralville. Featured speakers included STEM superstar, CEO of Girls Who Code Tarika Barrett, Senior Editor-at-large, Fortune and bestselling author Geoff Colvin, and best-selling author Ross Berstein.

2020 Executive Open
This year's Executive Open on August 31 looked a little different. Elbow bumps replaced high-fives and handshakes, networking was socially distanced, and impromptu conversations across the parking lot took the place of the post-round reception. What made the event a huge success once again is what remains the same each year–a great turnout of 100+ golfers, valuable introductions being made and important deals being struck.
2020 Legislative Briefing and Reception
A record crowd turned out for ABI’s Legislative Briefing and Reception on January 16. Members, lawmakers, statewide elected officials and agency directors turned out in force as ABI kicked off the first week of the 2020 legislative session.

2019 Legends in Manufacturing Awards Dinner
Elevate Advanced Manufacturing honored the past, present and future of advanced manufacturing at the 5th annual Legends in Manufacturing Awards Dinner on Oct. 1. Over 200 people attended the event at the Meadows Events & Conference Center in Altoona.

Talk about a networking hole-in-one! 124 of Iowa's top business leaders played in the ABI Executive Open on August 26 at the gorgeous Des Moines Golf and Country Club.
2019 Taking Care of Business Conference
A record 600+ Iowa business leaders took the 2019 ABI Taking Care of Business Conference by storm, June 4-6, in Ames. Featured speakers included Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Wall St. Journal Peggy Noonan, author and former NBA and Iowa State basketball player Paul Shirley, and author and top-rated trainer and speaker Rowena Crosbie.
