Governor Reynolds, NY Times Best-Selling Author, and Former US Fighter Pilot to Headline ABI Conference

DES MOINES, Iowa –The highly anticipated 120th annual Taking Care of Business Conference, hosted by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), will bring together over 500 influential business leaders from across Iowa and the Midwest. Recognized as Iowa’s premier statewide business conference, this three-day event will be held in Cedar Rapids June 13-15, 2023.
“This event is the embodiment of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking, providing a platform for professionals to empower the Iowa business community,” said Kim Augspurger, ABI Board Chair and Pigott consultant. “Our goal is to provide attendees with the knowledge, inspiration and connections needed to drive success in their respective industries.”
The conference programming will take place at the Cedar Rapids Convention Complex, in the heart of downtown. Attendees will also explore local attractions and tour businesses, including International Paper, Raytheon, Lion Bridge Brewing, Ellis Golf Course, and more.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds will once again address attendees at the Conference on Wednesday, June 14. The 2023 keynote speaker is Cy Wakeman, Owner and Founder of Reality-Based Leadership and NY Times Best-Selling Author. Other mainstage speakers include Brandon Williams, Founder and Owner of Lead Tac and former US Navy fighter pilot, as well as Ryan Anderson, Vice President of Global Research and Insights at MillerKnoll.
The Conference will also feature workshops from Iowa industry experts on workplace well-being and safety, mergers and acquisitions, B2B marketing, and employee ownership business models.
