Celebrating 250 Years of America

This Independence Day is especially meaningful as our nation celebrates its 250th birthday. 

For 250 years, America's strength has come from the people who work hard, take risks, build businesses and invest in their communities. That spirit continues today in Iowa, where ABI members are creating jobs, developing innovative products, supporting local communities, and helping move our state forward. 

As we celebrate this milestone, I'm grateful for the businesses and leaders who make Iowa a great place to live, work and do business. I'm also thankful for those who have served, and continue to serve, our country to protect the freedoms that make opportunity and entrepreneurship possible. 

For more than 120 years, ABI has been proud to serve as the voice of Iowa business—advocating for policies that help employers prosper, developing leaders who will shape tomorrow and bringing together business leaders from every corner of our state. While our country celebrates 250 years of independence, we're also looking ahead to the next 250 years of American innovation and the important role Iowa businesses will continue to play in that future. 

Thank you for your continued investment in ABI and in Iowa. Together, we're helping keep our state competitive and create opportunities for future generations.
