Iowa Manufacturing Leaders to Be Honored

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) and Elevate Advanced Manufacturing will recognize four manufacturing leaders on October 4, 2023, at its annual Legends in Manufacturing awards program, as part of ABI’s Iowa Manufacturing Conference.
The four Legends in Manufacturing awardees were chosen out of many nominations for their contributions to Iowa’s largest industry by displaying leadership in their companies and by engaging in activities supporting manufacturing.
The following individuals, companies and organizations are the 2023 Legends in Manufacturing awardees and will be recognized during lunch on October 4:
- Under 100 Employees: Jackson Manufacturing, Jack Hasken (Maquoketa)
- 100-300 Employees: Osmundson Manufacturing, Heather Bruce (Perry)
- 300+ Employees: Arconic, John Riches (Bettendorf)
- Manufacturing Champion: Cindy Dietz, Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids)
“As one of Iowa’s largest industries, manufacturing contributes $38 billion annually to the state’s economy,” ABI President Mike Ralston said. “It’s an honor to recognize the founders and leaders of these amazing Iowa companies, and to thank them for the outstanding contributions they make to our state.”
In addition, all former Legends have been invited to attend and be honored once again.
