Chad Reece, Vice President, Government and Industry Relations of Winnebago Industries in Forest City, will serve as chair of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Board of Directors for the 2025 fiscal year, which began July 1.

The ABI Board of Directors unanimously elected Reece during its 121st annual meeting on June 6 in Davenport. Reece served as Vice Chair in 2024 and has been an active member in all facets of ABI. This includes serving on public policy and advocacy committees and graduating from ABI Foundation’s Leadership Iowa 40th anniversary class.

Reece has been a long-serving member of the ABI board and is a prominent business leader in Iowa, representing one of the state's iconic manufacturers, Winnebago Industries, for over 36 years. Chad, a veteran civic leader in North Iowa, is actively involved in various boards and initiatives both within Iowa and nationally in the industry.

"Chad Reece brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to Iowa's business community to his role as chairperson of the ABI Board of Directors,” said Mike Ralston, ABI President. “His leadership and vision will be invaluable as we continue to advance our mission of supporting Iowa businesses and fostering economic growth across the state."

As ABI Chair, Reece is responsible for leading the Board of Directors in developing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives and in overseeing the implementation of that work. He will also help to communicate ABI’s mission to Iowans.

“The Iowa Association of Business and Industry represents the full and diverse scope of companies in our state and has a rich history of leading advocacy, policy and promotion that benefits us all,” said Reece. “I am excited to be a part of this great organization as we continue to advance our mission to be a representative and impactful voice for Iowa businesses.”
