ABI Partners with Kinetic Technologies to Host Cobot Automation Event

DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) has partnered with Kinetic Technologies and Iowa Lakes Community College to host an event on cobot automation. Join local manufacturers, workforce organizations and subject experts in Algona on February 23.
“This program is geared towards manufacturers of any size as well as those interested in workforce solutions and automation,” said Mike Ralston, ABI President. “This a day designed for attendees to learn from national cobot leaders, as well as discover how automation could be brought to their organization.”
Featured speakers include Matt Busch, Cofounder of Hirebotics and Elias Papillion, Regional Development Manager, Welding at Universal Robots. Also hear from a panel about workforce solutions and ways your company could implement automation to help take your facilities to the next level. Panelists include Derek Thompson, CIRAS, and Jolene Rogers, Executive Director Institutional Advancement/Foundations - Iowa Lakes Community College.
Attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on interaction with a welding cobots exhibit in Iowa Lakes Community College’s Electrical Learning Lab.
