Gregoire elected chairman of ABI Board

Paul Gregoire, a global vice president with Fisher in Marshalltown will serve as chairman of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Board of Directors for the 2016 fiscal year, which began July 1.

The ABI Board of Directors unanimously elected Gregoire during its 112th annual meeting on June 10 in Bettendorf. Gregoire served as vice chairman in 2015 and has been an active member of ABI for 10 years.

Gregoire is active on several boards and initiatives, including the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Marshalltown Regional Partnership and Marshalltown Business/Education Alliance.  With over 30 years experience in the business and manufacturing sector, he has traveled extensively and works with individuals from a multitude of cultures on a daily basis.

Fisher is the world’s largest manufacturer of control valves, instrumentation and associated products, and provides world class service to thousands of customers around the world.  They have operations in over 20 countries and are a leading subsidiary of Emerson Corporation. 

As ABI chairman, Gregoire is responsible for leading the Board of Directors in developing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives and in overseeing the implementation of that work. He also will help to communicate ABI’s mission to Iowans.
