ABI Elects New Members to Executive Committee

The Iowa Association of Business and Industry elected its slate of officers and directors for the 2017 fiscal year at its 113th annual meeting on June 14 in Sioux City. New terms begin on July 1.

Longtime ABI member Lori Schaefer-Weaton, Agri-Industrial Plastics, Fairfield, was elected ABI chairperson. David Zrostlik, Stellar Industries, Garner, was elected vice chairperson; David Bywayer, Economy Advertising Company, Iowa City was elected Treasurer; and John Krogman, Owner Revolution, Inc., Adair, was elected secretary.

Three new business leaders were elected to ABI’s Executive Committee, including Michael Sadler, CenturyLink, Des Moines; Mary Landhuis, Lisle Corporation, Clarinda; and Kirk McCollough, Seneca Foundry, Inc., Webster City. Those re-elected to the ABI Executive Committee include Steven Bradford, HNI, Muscatine; and Richard Phelan, LyondellBassell Industries, Clinton.

The ABI Executive Committee is comprised of 10 business leaders from around the State of Iowa, who provide leadership and direction for the ABI Board of Directors and the organization as a whole.
